Online shopping:
We will send you an email confirming that your order has been received. If an item is not in stock, we will contact you and offer the following options:
- Send a similar, alternative item.
- Let you know how long it will be before the item is available. And then send it if you’re prepared to wait.
- Cancel your order if you would prefer not to wait.
Despatch:
Goods will usually be despatched within 2 working days. The method and address for delivery will be specified on the customer order. All UK deliveries are sent by Royal Mail (for parcels up to 1kg), or by courier.
UK Delivery charges:
UK deliveries to retail customers with an order value of under £50 are charged at a flat rate of £4.95. All UK orders to retail customers over £50 are sent free of postage.
EU & international delivery charges:
Deliveries to the EU and Channel Isles are charged at £15 for up to 2kg. For the US and Canada we charge £25 for parcels up to 1kg. If an international parcel weighs more, we will contact you by email with the additional cost. And you can then decide whether you want to proceed with the order.
Returns:
Under the Sale of Goods act, in the case of faulty goods, we allow a period of seven working days from receipt of the goods, for the customer to reject and return the goods for an exchange or full refund. All other refunds are made at the discretion of the company. Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
Cancellation of order:
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, all UK customers have the right to cancel orders placed through a website within fourteen days of their receipt of the goods. UK residents wishing to cancel an order under these regulations should return the goods (in their original packing and in their original condition) to:

Gasalong Ltd will not accept any responsibility for the loss or damage to goods returned in this way until they are received at our address. We strongly recommend that returns are sent by a recorded or tracked method of delivery. Once we receive the goods, unopened and in saleable condition, a refund for their cost will be made to your credit / debit card. We will send you an acknowledgement of this by email.
Tax Charges:
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, VAT is added at the current rate. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security:
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
